'Bigg Boss 16': Shalin tells Nimrit 'I can't damage a girl's life, she has to marry outside'

 


In the latest episode of 'Bigg Boss 16', Shalin Bhanot was seen breaking down after he got bullied by Tina Datta and Priyanka Choudhary leaving him feeling lonely.

Later in the room, Nimrit comes and speaks with Shalin and tells him that she has asked Tina to behave maturely and not taunt him unnecessarily.

Shalin cries in front of Nimrit and says that Tina and Priyanka are evil.

She tells Shalin to express if he feels bad about something.

Shalin says: "They're out to make me appear awful. I ignored it numerous times. I am not a failure. I'm pleading with her not to provoke me. I have stories to tell, and you are a girl. I can't damage a girl's life, she has to marry outside. She is oblivious to this.

Jetshen Dohna Lama from Pakyong, Sikkim, is music's new 'Li'l Champ'

 


Nine-year-old Jetshen Dohna Lama, from Pakyong, Sikkim has been named the winner of the singing reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs'.

The show, which started on October 15, 2022, concluded with a grand finale and was attended by celebrity guests, notably Bollywood star Jackie Shroff, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and music director Amit Trivedi.

During the finale episode, there was tough competition with the top six contestants putting up their best act. Harsh Sikandar, Rafa Yeasmin, Atharv Bakshi, Atanu Mishra, Jetshen Dohna Lama and Dnyaneshwari Ghadge were the top six, but it was Jetshen who took home the trophy.

Jetshen was last praised by Hema Malini, who compared her voice to that of the legendary Lata Mangeshkar.

Jetshen was named the winner and awarded the trophy by the judges Shankar Mahadevan, Anu Malik and Neeti Mohan. Harsh Sikandar, 9, and 12-year-old Dnyaneshwari Ghadge were named first and second runners-up respectively.

Wipro lays off over 400 freshers for poor performance

 


IT giant Wipro has laid off more than 400 fresher employees for poor performance in internal assessment tests.

The company has issued termination letters to all the affected employees and stated that despite adequate training, they have failed to perform.

Sources explained the termination letter maintained that the employees were liable to pay Rs 75,000 of the training cost which company has spent on them. But, the amount is being waived off.

"We wish to inform you that the training cost of Rs 75,000 which you are liable to pay, will be waived off," the letter reads.

Commenting on the development, the IT giant clarified that it takes pride in holding itself to the highest standards.

"From every entry level employee it is expected to have a certain level of proficiency in their designated area of work. The evaluation process includes to align employees with the requirements of clients and the business objectives of the organisation.

Twitter's new developer rules ban 3rd party apps

 


Micro-blogging platform Twitter has quietly updated its "Developer Agreement" to ban third-party clients, almost a week after it blocked the apps' access to its platform.

The new rules mentioned that users can not use Twitter's application programming interface (API) or content to "create or attempt to create a substitute or similar service or product to the Twitter Applications," reports The Verge.

As of Thursday, the new rules went into effect.

The platform also defined "Twitter Applications" as the company's "consumer facing products, services, applications, websites, web pages, platforms, and other offerings, including without limitation, those offered via https://twitter.com and Twitter's mobile applications."

'Bigg Boss 16': Shalin, Soundarya try to instigate Nimrit against Shiv

 


Shalin Bhanot and Soundarya Sharma will be trying their level best to instigate Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia against her friend Shiv Thakare.

Shiv and Nimrit will be pitted against each other to grab captaincy position and earn the position in the Ticket To Finale Week.

A promo shared by the channel shows Soundarya telling Nimrit to think about how Shiv took Priyanka Choudhary and MC Stan's names as deserving candidates for the captain. Shalin also does the same and tells her to see who is actually on her side.

Nimrit confronts Shiv: "You took Priyanka's name. That Priyanka and Tina, who have been trying to break our group."

Shiv expresses his disappointment to Stan saying that Nimrit is upset and emotional but is bonding with Shalin.

Nimrit later tells Soundarya, "Everything is just for 150 cameras. What is even real. If I say in Stan's words, 'Allah unhe kamiyabi de'."

Microsoft to lay off nearly 11K employees this week: Report

 


Tech giant Microsoft is joining the ongoing layoff season at tech companies, and is reportedly set to fire nearly 11,000 employees this week amid the global economic slowdown.

Sky News reported that Satya Nadella-run company is "finalising plans to become the latest technology giant to reduce its workforce during a global economic slowdown".

Microsoft employs more than 220,000 people, including 6,000 in the UK.

The company's contemplating reducing roughly 5 per cent of its workforce, "which, if accurate, would equate to approximately 11,000 jobs".

The company will likely announce layoffs on Wednesday (US time), ahead of its quarterly earnings next week.

Nadella recently warned of two years of challenges ahead for the tech industry.

'BB16': Nimrit is captain again; Shalin, Tina, Sumbul, Soundarya nominated

 


'Bigg Boss 16' contestant Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has again been named the captain of the house.

Bigg Boss said that 'Ticket To Finale' is also linked to captaincy and the contestants have to remove Nimrit from this position.

Bigg Boss asked her to read the rules, adding that if they are broken she will lose her captaincy. Tina, Priyanka and Shalin started planning as to how to break the rules so that Nimrit can be removed from her position.

Meanwhile, during the nomination task, each housemate has to name the contestant whom they think should leave the house.

The nominated contestants for this week are Shalin Bhanot, Tina Datta, Sumbul Touqeer and Soundarya Sharma.
